Description:
Preacher is a 2009 model grade buckskin gelding he stands 15.3 hands 1300lbs. We have done all aspects of ranch work on him from branding, gathering, sorting and doctoring. You can track up on a cow, rope it, and step off to doctor. Preacher is a big gentle giant who loves the affection of people! He is very good in the pasture with other horses too. You can catch him anywhere, jump on him bareback, with just a rope around his neck and ride him bridleless back to the barn. He is a great horse to ride up and down the mountains. Preacher is sure footed in the roughest of country and is also traffic safe. He’s seen lots of miles in the back country and along the roads. Preacher is also broke to drive and is great to drive into town on Sunday to go to church. We have taken him into Cody to the rodeo and road him with the drill team-nothing bothers him. He has a ton of heart and is willing to do anything you ask of him. He goes where you point and is hassle free. In the arena, Preacher, has a lot of movement and feel to him. He has all the Friesian action and style but with the pretty buckskin color that makes him stand out in a crowd. He stays broke with time off, just saddle and go, no warm up needed. Loads into any trailer and backs out. He stands great to get new shoes and loves a bath. For more info please call us
