Description:
“Vegas” is a really cool 5 year old 16.1 hand draft cross gelding. This horse is gentle and easy going and would be suitable for most riders and ability levels with the training and temperament to excel in many disciplines. Built thick and stout with good bone and feet all in a pretty roan wrapper. He is a super ranch horse who has done it all from days long cattle drives, sorting, and pasture roping to starting colts and dragging the calving sled. He is solid to rope on in the branding corral and in the pasture, he has doctored yearlings, trailer loaded lots of cattle and has been roped on in the arena too. Vegas has competed in several ranch rodeos and has also been used as a pick up horse. He is as solid of a trail horse as they come and has been ridden all over the rugged Wyoming backcountry and knows how to use himself on steep, rocky terrain. He is soft in the face and on his sides, has a smooth trot, easy to sit lope, stops and backs with ease and rides one handed on a loose rein. Excellent ground manners and UTD on vaccines, dental and deworming. 100% sound. $15,000
