Description:
Job duties include: assisting with pen riding, treating sick cattle, working new loads of cattle brought into the feed yard, and other duties associated with animal health and daily operations of a feed yard. This individual should be experienced, or highly motivated to learn about animal health from experienced workers and pen riders. The position includes a great pay package that increases rapidly based on performance, paid vacation time, double pay on holidays, 401K, insurance and housing. CCI Feedyards is located in Genoa, Nebraska and has a 7,500 head capacity. The feed yard uses modern equipment and the Micro Beef system to track the health of animals. We currently use ATVs in our operation but will allow horseback pen ridding with the right candidate.
