15.3 hands and stout made



"Parker" is a big, solid gelding who has a lot to offer. His conformation is outstanding. He has nice big hooves and bone, making him a sturdy mount for any rider.

Parker has been used for the past 3 years for trail riding, mountain trail obstacle challenges, ranch shows and cattle sorting. He has been ridden on trails by total beginner (first time) riders.

Parker is the kind of horse that will match his abilities to that of his rider. For beginner/child riders he is easy and forgiving, careful with his steps. For more advanced riders he can up his game and ride around like a well tuned ranch gelding.

He has been hauled extensively in the past several years not only to shows but he has ridden in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee and seen the sights of the chuckwagon races in Arkansas. He will cross water, climb hills, step over trees, ride out alone or in a group. He has also frequently been on overnight picket line trips.

Would make a great ranch gelding for someone who wants a no nonsense kind of horse to jump on and ride off at any time. Parker has no buck, rear or bolt in him whatsoever. He is not spooky or cold backed. Has never been ill, lame or required any kind if maintenance.



Parker’s one fault is that he is a dominant horse with a herd. He has been turned out with other horses, both mares and geldings but they do have to establish that herd dynamic, and he wants to be the dominant one. He does not display this behavior when ridden or handled.
