Fletch is a gorgeous sorrel gelding with lots of eye appeal that is 14.3 and extremely shapey with good bone and great feet. He is BROKE BROKE and handy as the pocket on your shirt. He’s absolutely safe and sane. He’s gentle and tacks up with no hump or buck. He is a gentleman to have around the barn and is full of cowboy manners.

He has a great handle and is broke enough to put him anywhere you want to. You can ride him with your feet or hands. He’s been ridden in the arena and he’ll WTL, do roll backs, pivot, neck rein, pick up his leads, lope circles, move off your leg, two track and has a great stop. He has an awesome lope and hits the ground so soft you almost wouldn’t know he’s loping. He’s broke enough you could do anything on him you want to.

He came off a big ranch originally and is no stranger to long days. This guy will and has done everything you can do with one on a ranch including gathering, penning, sorting pairs, doctoring sicks, dragging calves to the fire, scouting for strays, loading trucks and checking fences. He always has a great work ethic and will not quit you. He’s been started tracking and roping the dummy and live steers on the heel side. He would finish out to make a higher number heel horse. He’s stout enough to head on as well.

We loaned him to some friends and they took to him out to Palo Duro Canyon and they say he was fantastic on those trails. We took him to Dinosaur Valley State Park and the National Grasslands which is 80,000 acres on trail rides and he rides just fine in a group and will ride anywhere you want front, middle or back. He will also ride out alone willingly if you just want a nice solitary ride.
