Galleon is one big cool handsome dude! Rides Western, English, Sidesaddle and Drives. He has been used for a little bit of everything but has mostly been used on the ranch. He will ride off by himself, cross water, logs and anything else you point him at. He’s big and tough and can cover country well. He has been used to gather, trail cattle, and drag calves to the fire. He’s been in the mountains and is wonderful on trails. They rode Galleon sidesaddle at their wedding, and he handled the big crowd with no issues. He has also been used at ski jorings in the middle of town. When he was younger, he was broke to drive double and lightly started jumping. Galleon is a big gentle friendly teddy bear. Zero buck whether you ride him every day for a few times a year he will be just the same. They have had beginners on him a few times and they got along well but I’m not sure he’s ready to go to a beginner full time. He has nice big smooth gaits, forward moving but by no means hot or silly. He hasn’t had a tone of arena training yet but he will pick up both leads, stops nice, moves off a leg and side passes. His Sire (Buckskin Pictured) Is a Registered American Sporthorse. (Shire Thoroughbred Cross) He was named Grand Champion Sporthorse Stallion for Dressage at USDF/USEF sanctioned show. Galleons Dam is an Appendix bred mare. I think this horse has a tone of potential to go into the Dressage arena. Weather you take him English, drive him, make a pickup horse out of him, or just used him on the ranch or trails your sure to love him!! He’s good to catch, load, shoe, saddle and bridle. 100% sound, vet checks welcome at buyer expense. He’s in Buffalo WY shipping available.
