Located in Haines, OR



RJ was born (8/1/16) he is an intact unregistered border collie. Finished on cattle and ready for his next working home. He is good at home, good with kids, outdoor dog only, kennel trained, rides in the truck or trailer, easy to get along with, not hyper, rides on the 4-wheeler, works off the ATV or horseback. He has extensive experience in the mountains, he will go in and get cows out of the trees or brush. He has also been in the rocks and flat land. He is focused and very methodical. He has long runs and will work far out. He is a strong head dog but will also push the heels as well. He has a natural way of working and has great instinct! He has experience with cows, pairs, bulls, and yearlings.



He has one drawback, he gets along fine with other dogs and will work with them. But, if a cow turns back and fights he will bite another dog that tries to come in and help him. He doesn’t do it all the time but as much as we have tried we haven’t been able to stop him completely. He would probably be better suited to work alone but he can work with other dogs if necessary.



Selling because we have young dogs needing to be trained and RJ just doesn’t get to get out much anymore. Not fair to keep his talent locked up.
