Description:
I’m currently seeking a preferred full time position, but will consider seasonal. Room and Board needed. I’m a 28yr old Female. Don’t drink, smoke, or do any drugs. Currently located in Northern Colorado, but will relocate. I grew up in FL in a family of team ropers and have shown performance horses extensively. I have experience with AQHA All Arounders (Pleasure, Showmanship, Halter, Trail Etc), I’ve also rode and shown cutters as well as have some experience with reiners, as well as ran barrels for a few years. I would love a job loping for a performance horse trainer with maybe a possibility to show (I still have Amateur and L1 Eligibility due to limited showing as a youth) or would maybe consider another guest ranch job. I have no issues traveling for shows, setting up, or hauling horses. I can drive a truck and trailer, tractor, fix fence, clear trails. I’ve been a wrangler and head wrangler the past 3 years for a high country guest ranch running about 60 head of horses. I have exceptional vet and doctoring skills, can groom to show barn standards, body clip and shoe horses. I have some packing experience. I do rope some but wouldn’t consider myself handy enough to doctor cattle or anything, though with some practice I could most likely get that way. I do have 2 horses (a 4yr old ranch/show gelding, and a yearling Futurity prospect) I would like to keep with me but arrangements could be made otherwise. I have a clean drivers license and reliable vehicle.
