I’ve used this horse as my seven year old son’s kid horse for the last year. My son just isn’t getting along with him anymore and I’ve got too many young horses to ride so I don’t need him. Harry has really been a good horse for us and served two purposes. Harry is the kind of horse that I can saddle up and go rope a bull on and then the next day put my son on him and go out gathering with him. He is a different horse with an adult than he is with a kid on him. Harry is a big stout gelding and has a big motor, my son never felt comfortable on him in a lope because he does cover some ground, but Harry never loped with my son unless asked to.



I have used Harry on a lot of big gatherings, roped wheat pasture calves on him, drug calves, roped bulls and even roped a 1,400 lb pissed off fat steer that escaped the slaughter house pens. When I have something big to rope, I saddled Harry. He is super fast tracking a calf and will get you right in position. He has been out of the roping box and will make a good head horse with a little more tuning. Harry does not move around like a cow horse, he’s like driving a boxcar in the sorting pens, he will get the job done, just not very fancy doing it.



This horse is gentle and has no buck bite or kick. He does have a big motor and likes to move out when an adult gets on him.
