IMMEDIATE HIRE - Northern Colorado. We have one Male Wrangler Position to fill for our 2020 Guest Season. Currently our Female Positions have been filled, however applications are still welcome! Our Season runs from May 21st until the first week of October. This is not a "working ranch position" we do not run cattle. We operate a guest ranch that gets guests from around the world for 3-6 night stays. We run about 70 head of Dude Horses. Duties include but are not limited to clearing trails, fixing fence (barbed, smooth, buck rail, and high tensile), saddling and unsaddling horses, general feeding and care, cleaning corrals, and minor doctoring. Must have a good eye for lameness and injuries. Wranglers will be responsible for leading up to 6 guests on rides throughout the Rawah Wilderness. Ideal candidate can operate a tractor, drive a truck and trailer, have fencing and chainsaw knowledge, as well as ride green and problem horses. We are located in Northern Colorado at 8,300ft, about 3 hours NW of Denver and an hour SW of Laramie, WY. There is no cell service at the ranch, but there is limited WiFi. Most of the staff is between 21 and 30 years of age, it is communal living, you will share a room with at least one other person. All room and board is included, we supply shirts and jackets to all employees.
