The truck has four side steel panels (2 on each side) which easily can be lifted off from two panel hooks attached to a chain and removed with a tractor converting into a full flatbed for hauling hay, logs, or crates. The tailgate portion can either be opened with a switch in the cab to lower two hydraulic hooks which make the tailgate swing out and the gate can be adjusted by chains for the opening width for spreading gravel, rock, sand, and the like. The tailgate can also be swung around and anchored by a clip to the side of one of the right side panels so the rear opening is unencumbered and fully open.
