Best of material and excellent workmanship created this well cared for pre-owned Balanced Ride saddle made by FALLIS SADDLERY of Elbert, Colorado. Inspired by re-known trainer and clinician, Monte Foreman. Monte’s theory was to get the rider’s weight forward in a more balanced position plus creating more freedom in the stirrup leathers while removing much of the bulk under ones thighs which in turn allowed for closer leg contact with your horse. This new concept proved to be very successful in all disciplines---whether in the arena, show pen, ranch, trail or pleasure. Intricately fully hand carved in a Tame Rose pattern that is mighty easy to look at. Fourteen inch padded seat, 7 inch gullet, both latigos are near new, excellent genuine wool lining, weighs approximately 33 lbs. Slots for breast collar in skirts. Small tear in left fender that has been professionally repaired. According to Mr. Fallis’ 2008 price list the saddle would cost in excess of $3,000. Today’s base price is $3,800 +. Maker marked GENUINE BALANCED RIDE under right seat jockey. FALLIS SADDLERY ELBERT COLORADO on both fenders and under left seat jockey along with saddle number and patent number. Asking $1,250.00 which includes shipping.
