Providing safe trail rides to guests. General Ranch Work (Fencing, Irrigation, Lawn Care, Cleanup) and Packing (gear, clearing trails) Person needs to be efficient, self starting, have horsemanship, be calm in situations, able to lift 100 packs onto horses/mules. take care of guests, able to drive truck and trailer, have own reliable personal vehicle. This position is NOT riding horses every day all day, tons of other work is put into this job, I am not looking for someone who just wants to wrangle you must do all duties. follow instructions, and work hard. some days you may work 4 hours the next might be 16. if you cannot sit in a saddle for 8 hours straight please don’t apply. housing may be available but prefer person to have own camper/trailer to live in. Horses Pets and significant others considered with rules. pay is DOE don’t email us with the first sentence being how much is pay. your pay will reflect your abilities and how much we have to teach you and be there with you every step. If you have 0 experience with horses and this industry don’t expect to get paid top dollar. Not your typical dude ranch type outfit, Our trails are rough, you will be riding the wrangler horses which means your basically training horses to be guest horses. will have some opportunity moving cattle and working cattle but not a lot, We are willing to work with the right person to place them in a job for the off season IF they wish to return the following summer and give the opportunity to travel to AZ for our outfit down there in the winter. this job may run into and through hunting season, NOV 20,2020 will probably be the end date. Wranglers will pack through the season and may have the opportunity to guide hunters. will teach many Lashes for packing and how to pack. Job comes with a ton of opportunities and experience.
