Description:
We are a motivated, hardworking, and stable couple looking for a ranch employment opportunity. Jonathan has spent the past 5+ years managing a horse ranch with locations in Oregon and California consisting of 150+ horses and 60+ burros. Julianna spent the past 2.5 years assisting at both locations with hands on projects. Responsibilities included grooming horses, mucking, feeding, brush clearance, building fence and burn piles.



Our variety of skills include horsemanship, ranch labor, livestock care, vehicle machinery maintenance, construction, welding, hospitality and guest services. We are experienced living and working in remote locations. We work strongly as a team caring for ranch animals and the property.



We are seeking a ranch to call home in Arizona, Montana, Colorado, or Wyoming but are open to other locations. We have one well trained ranch dog who will be joining us.



Skills and abilities:



-Riding and training for trail rides, pack trips and arena work

- Equine vet care

- Welding, carpentry and masonry

- Operation and maintenance of chainsaws, tractors, skid steers, and other large farm machinery

-Fence building (wire and wood)

- Working livestock

- Skilled in pasture reintroduction and species management/containment

-Experienced in human and equine emergency procedures

- Hiring and training new staff

- Coordinating guest programs

- Booking travel and organizing itineraries

- Creating ranch social media content

-Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified
