This girl has curves in all the right places, and a mane to die for. If you are looking for a nice quiet ranch horse, then take a look at Misty. She is a flashy 7 year old grey mare, 14.2 hh and nicely built with a big hip, beautiful mane and tail and dapples on her rear. Misty is gentle and smart and has a ton of athletic ability. She came off of a ranch in New Mexico, where she was used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. Misty is a good ranch horse but would also make an excellent heel horse or breakaway horse, or even a pleasure horse. She is nicely broke with an excellent handle. Misty is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. She is smooth and easy to ride, stops and backs well, is good on both leads, and will sidepass. Misty rides quietly on a loose rein, but has plenty of speed if you need it. She is extremely gentle on the ground, has never offered to bite or kick, and is not at all mare-ish. She can be turned out with geldings or other mares without a problem. Misty can be ridden out by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Misty has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to load, haul and shoe.
