Description:
"JB" is a 3yr old, fixed male border collie trained by Brian Jacobs of Golden State Stock Dogs. He placed 2nd at the Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Sale in 2019 and since then has helped me work a 500 head herd on thousands of acres easily doing the work of two additional cowboys. He will work from voice and/or whistle commands, off horseback or ATV and will go ALL day long, this dog does not quit. He’s very smart, strong, and although he loves to go to the head, he’ll go wherever you need him - he really loves getting the job done right for you. He’s not afraid of stubborn cattle and will work anything with four legs. He has experience working pairs, heifers, bulls, and large goat herds. He’s great around other dogs, absolutely loves people, and is very sweet with kids.



I recently resigned from my job and moved to a small acreage with no stock, so I’m selling him because I’m not using him anymore and I can’t stand to see him wasted. JB has been a great dog and its important to me that he finds a home where he will be loved and regularly worked. Since he has been off stock for almost 6 months he will need some time with his new owner to take the fresh off.
