We are currently seeking self-motivated individuals with ranch and livestock experience. Someone who desires to be part of our ranching team. This is a full time job for the right individual. The individual must be flexible and able to work days, hours, and weekends as necessary to complete jobs as needed. All employees are under the supervision of the ranch managers and general manager. Duties and Job Responsibilities: • Assist in the care and management of cattle and sheep herds • Identify health issues within a herd • Assist in the proper land and water management decision making process • Maintenance and upkeep of ranch equipment, vehicles, facilities, and housing • Fence repair and maintenance • Application of herbicides to manage habitat • Participate in herd gatherings, marking, branding, and vaccinating of livestock • Responsible for record keeping of livestock inventory and movement • Part time work at Producers Livestock Auction Skills Required: • Self-starter, highly motivated, willingness to learn, and able to complete projects with limited or no direction • Desire to improve processes and efficiency throughout the operation • Proficient horsemanship skills and riding ability • Ability to work long hours • Possess the ability for strategic planning for the future of the operation and ability to see projects through to completion • Ability to perform physically challenging tasks (climbing windmills, carrying pipe and other heavy materials) • Must have experience in cattle care and management • Bilingual is preferred (Spanish and English) • Basic knowledge of plumbing, water wells is desirable Benefits: • Employee housing on site • Company truck • Health insurance • 401K • Room for advancement Please send resume to braidin@producersandcargile.com Posted 03-11-20 6887 visitors have viewed this ad
