He is loaded with talent and ability and anyone can appreciate a gelding as nice as him! He is super broke and has a great handle on him. A nice smooth jog, and a rocking horse lope but can also cover some ground when you need him to. "Cajun" has a big stop and turns around both ways. He keeps his head low and will ride around on a loose rein all day long, he stays relaxed and quiet no matter what you’re doing. His neck rein is solid and he is extremely light - always stays right between your reins. There is no 2 ways about this gelding, he is easy enough to ride for just about any level of rider. This gelding has logged the hours and miles on the ranch it takes to make a good one and knows what a days work means. He has doctored lots of wheat pasture cattle and has a lot of natural cow sense to him. "Cajun" will gather, drive cattle to water, load trucks, and sort pairs all day long. He is also a Cadillac out on the trail - will cross anything and go anywhere you ask him to. He is sure footed in the roughest of terrain and easily makes his way up and down steep embankments, through thick brush and trees, crosses deep water, and just about anything else that goes with the territory of trail riding. He is also extremely civilized and gentle riding through town; traffic, pedestrians, barking dogs, etc. This is a gelding you can take and use on the ranch or to the 4-H shows, ranch versatility classes, ranch sorting, team penning, or out on the trails; "Cajun" can do it all. "Cajun" comes right up to you in the pasture or in his stall and will lower his head and stick it right in the halter, ready for whatever the day may bring! He stands quiet to be groomed, saddled, mounted, bathed, shod, etc. Doesn’t require any maintenance or special feed. "Cajun" stands 15/15.1 hands, has good bone and big, solid feet.
