Description:
Ice is a 2017 mare by gunner on ice. She is out of an own daughter of Lizzys Gotta Player. Both parents are money earners. Her dam, Lizzys player, won over 12k in NCHA. She would make a nice cow horse with her pedigree. She had 90 days with a cowhorse trainer her 2 year old year and has been ridden since. She is such a cool and level headed, sensible mare with an older demeanor. She can sit for a few weeks and ride off just the same. Quiet on the ground and not much phases her. Has never offered to buck, bite, or kick. She’s been ridden out and rides fine by herself or with others. Not even the wind or rain gets her worked up. She’s only ever spooked once being ridden out and I think it was more due to the horse in front of her spooking and whirling around straight towards her. She is well broke. Great turn around and has a nice stop coming along. She collects up well and is so soft in the rib cage. She moves off of the leg better than most older horses with more training. She could easily be finished as a cowhorse or used as a ranch/sorting/penning horse. I could also see her taking right to the barrels overnight with how correct she already is in her circles. Wouldn’t recommend for beginners as she is young and I’d like to see her in a performance home, but she’s definitely quiet enough for a confident youth. She’s strong, built correct, and is absolutely gorgeous in person. You’ll fall in love with her looks and demeanor on the ground before even getting on her. I’d guess her around 14.2 right now. She’s utd on everything. I’ve debated keeping her as I really like this mare and I could see her being the perfect first horse for my little one in a few years when she’s ready to start riding.
