Description:
High-end mountain ranch seeks an experienced couple team to join their team and assist current ranch managers in every aspect of daily ranch work. The male portion of the couple will be focused on maintaining and building fences, weed control, haying, general ranch operations, snow removal and sometimes working alongside Ranch Managers with cattle and bison operation. This is a rosin jaw position, not a cowboy job. Ideal candidate will be a jack of all trades that is mechanically inclined with the ability to maintain a variety of vehicles and ranch related equipment. Must be able to display a solid mechanical aptitude!



The other side of the couple team will also assist with general ranch duties as well as assisting with the horse herd (currently have about 20 horses) keeping them physically fit and gentle. Should have some experience with horses and riding with guests. It will be full-time work in the summer and transition to part-time in the winter. This member of the couple team can seek work off the ranch during winter months to supplement income if needed. Must be willing to assist in other areas as well, including housekeeping and turndown services.



Both members should be self-starters with excellent communication skills. Progressive thinkers with a willingness to learn and work within a team environment are preferred. This is a privately-owned property and a background in hospitality is needed.



Requirements:

• Must be team players with positive and outgoing attitudes.

• Must have experience with equipment maintenance.

• Should have some experience working with livestock, but this is not a cowboy position.

• Must be able to lift 55 lbs. comfortably and have the stamina and attitude to work long days.

• Willing to train the right couple but should have some relevant experience.



Salary: $40-55k/yr based on experience(for couple) – annual salary reviews are provided. Benefits: Reimbursement for 80% of health insurance cost, 401k, most utilities for household.

Housing: Three bedroom, two bathroom ranch house provided on-site.
