Description:
Poncho is a 6 yr old sorrel ranch gelding that is 15 hands, 1125 lbs, with good conformation,super gentle stays gentle, and very broke between the bridle reins. He came from a good cowboy near Amarillo, so he rides like he is supposed to. Light in the bridle , soft in his face and can really step around. He will sure look at a cow with a loose rein. We use him at the sale barn, he is handy to sort on , don’t get rattled by all the noise and commotion there. Smooth riding at a dog trot. His nose follows his tail around when asked to turn around, Lots of cowboy manners. Hauls the very best in our ranch trailers backs out when told. Very seasoned in rough country, good to sort cattle on or rope a wild bovine don’t matter to Poncho. Turn him out for extended periods of time he is the same, doesn’t get fresh. Rides level headed and has a good mind about any ranch related job. Currently doctoring sick calves on the Broseco ranch near us 7 days a week. Ridden lots of miles and tough as a pair of Beck cowboy boots.

Poncho is a pleasure to own and has no issues of any kind. 100 % sound and sane.
