Description:
Traveller is as good of a trail horse as I’ve ridden. He gets his name because he will cover some ground and walk out. He has a fast walk and is confident, quiet and will go any where you point him - willingly. He has been a ranch horse most all of his life and is excellent outside. He will cross any obstacle you present him with, and gets around great in rough country. Crosses water with ease, will willingly walk out into the water and take a big drink.

He is barefoot and is barefoot sound, his feet are tough as nails even in the rockiest terrain. Not scared of anything I’ve put him through, and I’ve put him through all the tests.

Traveller is very enjoyable to ride. He is dog gentle on the ground and has the very best ground manners. He is all about business and is respectful of your space. He has absolutely no buck or foolishness. Never cinchy, just step on and go. Ties, loads, hauls, stays gentle in new surroundings; does everything like a good horse should. He is healthy, absolutely sound, has clean legs and big black good feet. Just had his teeth floated in October.

Absolutely gentle for anyone, but probably too responsive and forward for a beginner. Best suited for someone that likes a horse that will walk out and get those reins a swinging.

This is one of those good old hard to find ranch horses with no nonsense. He will ride between the reins, is light and responsive and is super smooth. Very smooth lope, his trot has an almost gaited type feel or shuffle. He will hop into a lope easily and is very fun and enjoyable to ride. I absolutely trust this horse, he doesn’t freshen up and I feel very safe on him.
