“Playin Smoothly” by a son of Smooth as a Cat , 6 yr old, 13.5 hands , 1000 lbs , thick made and big butted, has been making a living on the Broseco ranch near us the last 2 yrs doctoring sick calves outside and in the pens, sorting lots of cattle and riding big pastures. We call him “Smooth” , handy broke, rides low headed and quiet , doesn’t booger at anything. Runs to a cow with his ears pinned to his head. Started out life in a cutting horse program, now a serious ranch horse for the whole family. My friends 15 yr old son makes a hand on Smooth, drags calves and doctors good as anyone’s ranch horse.

100 % sound and sane, doesn’t get fresh, no blemishes, easy to shoe.

These good finished ranch geldings are hard to come by that the whole family can use and make a hand on. Turn him out for long periods of time he is still the same.

The only way to get hurt on Smooth is to go to sleep and fall off!
