Description:
Update: I had a family come out and pile three high on her and do everything imaginable and she was PERFECT! The only reason they didn’t get her is because she was TOO laid back and they wanted something with more go for the older kids since they already had a pony. This mare is about as close to bomb proof as they come and if you’re wanting sure enough safe and steady, they don’t come any nicer! Lucy is truly a gem. She loves attention and is such a sweet and kind hearted mare. She can sit for months and pull her up and ride off like she never missed a day. Lucy has done a lot of different things in her lifetime. She was a show horse and did dressage and jumping. Since I have had her we have started her on barrels and she has been roped off of also. Lucy is traffic safe, fancy broke, and has beautiful smooth gaits. She loves the water and has a fun loving and up for any adventure type of personality. Lucy is great for the farrier and is currently shod all the way around because we are so rocky but does have excellent feet and could easily go barefoot as well. Lucy loves kids and knows how to gauge her rider. She has more whoa than go and will not go faster than her rider can make her and is capable of. She’s not lazy by any means but she’s also not a speed demon. She prefers the slower lifestyle but would be a great all around family horse and suitable for a beginner type playday/show horse. She has had one foal that I know of and was a good mom. I will attach a picture of her also. The only reason she is for sale is because her owner bought a step up playday horse from me for his daughter so she’s out a job and ready to move onto the next little one.
