Coal is a gorgeous jet black 15.2H gelding that is shapey and has plenty of bone. He’s super kind and is sane and gentle for your family to enjoy. He’s a great trail riding horse and has been ridden hundreds of miles down every kind of trail you could imagine. He came from a family that had him 7 years. He’s awesome to ride out alone and goes wherever you want him to. He’s really broke and neck reins, turns around, moves off your leg, side passes the gates, picks up his leads, lopes good circles, stops good and backs up easily. He’s been ridden all over the mountains in Colorado and New Mexico. He’s a great ranch horse and was raised on a big ranch and is used to being ridden in big country. He’s been used for every task you can think of on the ranch including gathering, penning, roping and doctoring sicks, dragging calves, sorting pairs, loading trucks and ponying colts. He’s been ridden by the kids and beginner guests to go along with the cowboys to enjoy a day on the ranch. The grandfather on the ranch rode him to check fences and windmills and look for stray cattle. He’s a ranchers best asset because he’s always ready for any task large or small even on the coldest days. Pull him up and go. They hauled him on the weekends for the kids to ride at the ropings while dad competed. He’s been ridden in a lot of parades and is no stranger to carrying a flag. He too is an ultimate all around horse for the whole family. Coal doesn’t have any bad habits or vices.
