Description:
Everyone loves a black horse, and so do we! “Twister” is a 6 year old coal black gelding that has everything in the world going for him. This gelding has a lot of experience under his belt and will be good in absolutely any direction someone wants to take him!

“Twister” had his start in west Texas working in the feed yards helping to gather and sort. He will watch a cow, knows how to work a gate, and is as sure footed as they come. Once he left the feed yard, he went on to be used in eastern New Mexico to tend to cattle, check fence, drag calves to fire during branding season, and whatever else in between. He has recently been used as a trail horse in eastern Arkansas and was great for that as well!

Don’t let that fool you though, this is a nice, classy gelding in the arena as well. He carries himself correct, and has a great stop and back up. Has a trot that is as smooth as glass and an easy lope that is very comfortable to sit. Picks up both leads and lopes great circles, has a great neck rein - there’s no two ways about him, he is a good horse and always wants to please.

Twister is great to ride outside, he is confident and quiet and goes exactly where you point him. He is not spooky or watchy, even in new places. Gets around good in the rocks, crosses water whether it’s shallow or belly deep. Doesn’t mind flags, dogs, traffic, etc.

At such a young age, Twister is incredibly accomplished and extremely mature. You don’t see a mindset like this in every horse, let alone one that is his age. He stands 15 hands, is completely sound, and healthy. He doesn’t have any vices, or scars/blemishes. Stands to be saddled, bathed, tied, etc. Is very friendly and easy to catch, great with other horses. Loads and hauls quieter than a mouse. This gelding is without a doubt one that you’ll love owning. He’s gorgeous, he’s quiet, and he is broke!
