Description:
Cuzco is a 3 year old gorgeous buckskin gelding. He has a great start on him and is smart as a whip! Cuzco has just shy of 30 days on him and the video attached were rides 12 through 15. He has so much heart and try and really aims to please no matter what it is I’m asking. I have owned Cuzco since he was born and also have two sisters of his. Good friends of mine own his sire who is proving to be a phenomenal 1D barrel horse and roping horse and now producer as well with his oldest crop being 4 year olds this year. Cuzco has not seen a round pen since his very first ride. He also has not just been ridden in the arena. He has been hauled a ton and rides down the road or on the trail just quiet as can be either alone or with others. Cuzco will make a great youth horse in the future and is the perfect size to do it all. I have thrown a rope off of him but not roped anything since he is just 3 and I’m not a roper anyways. Cuzco is very correct and picks up his leads, has the start to a spin, side passes fairly well, and is starting to look for the stop. I haven’t really drilled him on anything and have just touched on it to let him build his confidence in all aspects. He absolutely LOVES cattle and was so fun to work at my friends place the first time. He also rides bareback with just a halter and is just as light. Cuzco is ridden with just a smooth mouth snaffle and is respectful of pressure. He also just got his first set of shoes and was a very good boy! I would love to see him go to someone that will finish him out all around and eventually be a youth horse. He has all the potential in the world and I want him to fulfill that potential. I would be open to putting another 30-60 days on him and starting him on barrels once purchased.
