Forage is the most important component of your horses diet as an economical source of nutrients and also to maintain normal digestive health. As pasture sources of grass are slim this time of the year, it is extremely important to keep clean, fresh, cool, rich grass in front of your animals so they consume a minimum of 1% of their body weight per day. We do not cut corners in the production of our fine coastal hay that is LOADED WITH QUALITY and pleasing to the eye, not to mention, extremely palatable to equine. We’ve actually had reports of horses passing over their alfalfa to munch on this great hay.
