Description:
Springer is a 5 year old black gelding and a working cowboys dream. Papered, 15 hands, and 100% sound with straight legs. Super broke, jump on him and you can bet he’ll get the job done with no quit. This guy is the real deal with a business man attitude. NO buck, kick, bite, setback. He pays attention and will get you where you need to be quick. Has been used all winter on a large yearling operation with no problems whatsoever. Rides around correct and like a dream (head down, counterarcs, backs, sidepasses, hard stop, picks up both leads, etc). Branding, doctoring, calved on him, started colts on him, worked cutting flag, worked cows, pack him in the mountains, gather cows, tracks the dummy, trotted on the barrel pattern, taken off by himself in cyclone blizzards, etc. he’s done it ALL with no second thoughts. Stands tied, bathes, loads, hauls well, etc. Good potential to be a pickup horse or heading horse as well. I want to keep him because he’s such a great horse that you can depend on, but we want a new project. Vet checks welcome at buyers expense.
