6 Yr Old Beautiful Bay Gelding for Sale

Maverik is a beautiful 6 year old Quarter Horse Bay Gelding with great confirmation and a gentle disposition. He can navigate the trail very well, neck reins nicely, does not shy away from water, thick brush or other obstacles. He is our go to guy for the mountains. We have ridden him team penning and he can move off his hind end very well for turn backs and has a great stop. He loves attention, gets along well with other horses and is an "in your pocket" kind of guy with tons of personality.

Mav has excellent hard black hooves and is currently shod and up to date on shots & wormer. He is an easy keeper and is good to load/haul trailer, clip, groom, bath, saddle, tie and shoe. Maverik has excellent breeding but we are selling him grade. We have copies of his Dam’s papers and Sire information.

Maverik is not for the beginner because of his young age but he is gentle mannered and gives an easy going ride. He responds very well to voice, leg and rein under saddle and is well versed in round pen desensitizing and workout. He is easy to catch, very friendly and always comes to the call of his name.
