Description:
Hard working couple seeking a working ranch position where we can work together. We are ambitious self starters, and can see what work needs to be done. We both come from ranching backgrounds and were raised working with cattle and horses. We have worked together for the past six years and together we feel we make a great team and work together well in all situations.

In our time working together we’ve calved synchronized heifers out early in the year, had full responsibility of a 450 head cow calf operation with a forest permit where we summered the cows. There we were involved in AI’ing and embryo transfer of the cows and heifers, intensively grazed pivots and day worked for several ranches.

We take pride in our ability to calve out cows and heifers, identify and doctor sick calves early and efficiently, and know the importance of proper grass and pasture management, and have the knowledge and ability to create a balanced feed ration. We both have experience working on large ranches, absentee owned ranches, feedlots, and remote cow camps. Currently we have eight head of horses between the two of us; two of them being yearlings and we each have a mare in our saddle horse string. We also have a handful of working border collie dogs that we use as well.
