Description:
Jack is an attractive thick made 7 year old 14.3 hand sorrel AQHA gelding with good bone and big feet. He is a friendly and good natured horse that likes attention. He neck reins well and will do an easy slow jog, takes his leads and has a good stop. He is quiet minded yet has a good work ethic and will really walk out comfortable on trail. He crosses the river and small creeks like a gentleman. Crosses the bridges, downed timber and anything else we ask with confidence and ease. He handles our steep hills and rocky terrain very well and is sure footed and dependable to ride anywhere we ask. He will lead or follow, go out alone with no fuss and will ride in larger groups in the middle or rear as well and gets along with the other horses. Jack is also outstanding to ride around our busy neighborhood streets. Fast passing vehicles, barking dogs jumping up and down on the fences are of no concern to him. He is fine with bicycles, lawn equipment, heavy equipment and just about everything when riding our urban environment. Jack has also been used on the ranch. He is used to cattle and has some ranch roping experience. This is a good natured and gentle gelding in the prime of his life. 100% safe, sane and sound. Sold. Sorry you missed him. We have others.
