How can you not love a gorgeous, jet black mare with some chrome?! Talk about a dream come true! “Elvira” is a 9 year old mare that turns heads & catches lots of attention everywhere she goes! She’s seen miles upon miles of trails, done some beginner trail obstacle challenge courses, and has been used in a few parades/grand entry ceremonies! She rides very quiet and gentle in & out of the arena. Stands like a statue for mount and dismount! Has a nice floaty trot, picks up both leads & lopes good circles. Light in the face and has a good stop/back up. You can ride her out by herself, or in a group and she won’t fuss; she’s not barn or buddy sour at all. No buck, rear, bite, kick, squeal, cribbing, pacing, etc. She is not your typical mare - in fact she acts better than some geldings! Very sweet and gets along with everything & everyone. Easy to bathe, groom, pick up feet, saddle, bridle, and quiet for the vet and farrier. “Elvira” has had the same owner her whole life, and is only being sold due to the fact her owner is now unable to ride due to health reasons. She will be selling grade, although she is sired by a Topsail Cody bred stallion. “Elvira” stands 15 hands and is 100% sound, and sane!
