POSITION FILLED

NW Colorado Big Game Hunting Outfitter has position open for a Packer/Wrangler. Position starts first part of July. During the summer months the job entails ranch work, working with horses and mules including some feeding, plus getting gear ready for hunting season. We also clear trails on the Forest and set camps in the high country. Once hunting season opens in September, the job will entail helping to feed stock, putting loads together and packing hunters in and out of camps plus packing their game out. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good horse skills and a good attitude. Having knowledge of packing as well as leading strings is a plus, but we are willing to train. We cannot accommodate pets. Ok to bring your personal horse or mule. Must be a team player. NON-smoker. Meals provided and housing in either a cabin or wall tent. Looking for an honest, ethical person who wants to be part of a great team. Salary dependent on qualifications.
