Description:
Summer position as a horse wrangler at a dude ranch in a beautiful mountain location. Room and board are included, food is the best in the business, and the staff culture is wholesome and energetic. The position requires care of a herd of 70 horses, leading rides of guests on trails through the mountains, some light cow-work, and teaching guests to rope and crack bullwhips (if you don’t know how, we’ll teach you how we want you to teach our guests). Our wranglers rotate through duties, some weeks may involve taking care of some of the older kids or going on overnight pack trips in the high country. We are looking for service-minded staff members of high integrity. Prefer mid-May through September. Minimum commitment of early-June through late-August.
