Description:
Ellie is a nice solid mare that has been used for ranching, kid/lesson horse and trail riding. Big hip, straight legs, kind eye, good bone and hooves, and can sit for months, saddle her up and go do a job or have a kid ride her around. She isn’t cinchy, no buck or spook. She has been rode in rough country gathering cattle, crosses water, drug calves to the fire and pasture doctored, loads, good with her feet, worked colts in the round pen and ponying, works off your leg and opens gates, has been used at a few kid rodeos for barrel racing and roping. Very laid back and easy going. Has been rode in a hackamore all her life but responds to it great. We are only selling Ellie due to we have a lot of younger horses that are going nicely now and that the kids are starting to ride, so this nice mare has been turned out to pasture and I hate watching a good horse sit. She had her teeth floated in January 2019 and fully vaccinated the beginning of April 2019. 100% sound and healthy. Shipping out of state available.
