Hello, we’re recently semi-retired and are in search of a live on site caretaker/manager position. Currently I’m a seasonal upland guide and dog handler which I thoroughly enjoy. My previous work experience US Army -11B Infantry and also worked as a Land Man for eight years. My wife will be retiring at the end of May from the Department of Interior - BIA as a Realty Officer. We are moving back to SD from Wyoming and would like to locate in the Central South Dakota or within 60 miles of Albuquerque New Mexico. We’re wanting to stay busy and both like working outdoors and a position caretaking a recreational type property would be a perfect fit. We’re very versatile individuals and have experience in every aspect of wildlife/habitat management including predator control along with any clerical/office requirements. I will be continuing to guide in the Fall but would be able to still complete required duties related to the caretaker position and my wife will also be available to insure the supervision/security of the property. We are a low maintenance couple and have our own insurance. We both are into old West history - ranging from the Plains Indian Tribes to the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
