Mel is a drop dead gorgeous, 16 hh, 4 year old, gelding that is very well broke to ride.

A long time family friend, Melvin Greenlee, raised him. Mel’s sire is known for big, beautiful, full-made and, most importantly, GENTLE offspring. Mel has been ridden countless hours in the arena where he is very soft and supple. He will leg yield, sidepass and roll over his haunches with ease. Mel knows his leads and will get under himself when asked to stop.

He has also been ridden endless miles outside on the ranch, down the road and on the trail. Mel does not spook and will cross water, deadfall and ditches like a boss. He can walk down the main highway without being phased by semis, motorcycles or cars. We have been roping the machine and started him on live cattle as well.

Mel is a BIG, beautiful ,gentle gelding that is broke and ready to use in the discipline of your choice. We are honored to offer this great gelding for sale.
