We had a couple years of drought that we are catching up from and still paying some big hay bills. We raised this mare and she is a good daughter of our JK Jay Reed stallion. She is 5 Panel NN by parentage and she is 91% NFQHA eligible. She foals every year and does a fantastic job as a mama. 2019 will be her first year bred to Walter O Rielly who is a 16+ hand perlino and guaranteed to pass on his cream gene. Leta has only produced black legged foals so very good chance this foal will be a buckskin. She is due starting mid April to mid May. Her last 3 foals have been born very early May. We are estimating that Leta herself is only 14.2 hands, but so far her oldest foals are maturing out between 14.2-15.1 hands. The stallion she is exposed to now, Walter O Rielly, is a 16+ hand horse so the foal should mature out to around 15 hands. We can send additional pictures or videos if requested.
