Cute, cute, cute little cow pony here! “Leo” is a 7yr. old gray Quarter Horse gelding. He stands around 14.1 hands but is as wide as he is tall! Leo was previously owned by an older gentleman in his seventies who used him to prowl and doctor cattle outside. He has a nice one hand neck rein handle, moves off your leg and can really get around. This gelding is gentle but he is all business and will require a confident, active rider who will give him a job. This type of rider will make Leo the happiest. He will also be suitable for experienced youth 14+. Leo has plenty of go and would make a fabulous high school rodeo mount, heel horse, breakaway or play day horse. He would also excel at sorting and penning or extreme cowboy racing or just take him to work on the ranch or enjoy him out on the trails. Easy keeper! Four black, hard feet and barefoot! Leo is currently in Gainesville learning a bit about arena work and being enjoyed out on the obstacle course. He can be seen there by appointment. $5,500. Sells grade. Vet checks are welcomed and encouraged. This is a young, gelding with plenty of life ahead of him with lots of shape and color. Don’t miss him!
