He is super gentle, stays gentle, and handy broke. Rides like he is supposed to lowheaded and quiet, don’t get rattled by anything or when the rope gets tite. We use him daily tending cattle in brushy country and twice a week in local cow sales. All the noise and commotion don’t bother him a bit . He works a gate nice , and will sure watch a cow on a loose rein. RePete has all the cowboy manners a good ranch gelding can have. Easy to catch and shoe. Even with time off, all you gotta do is pull the cinch up tite and trot him rite off. Never any freshness to RePete. Hauls the very best in my ranch trailer backs out when told. Rides with any bridle in the saddle house. Seasoned for any level rider, can make a hand on him. My cowboys sure like using him. Stout by the saddle horn and won’t be outran by any cow. Runs to a cow with his ears pinned to his head. If you need a solid , 100% sound , seasoned ranch gelding that’s bombproof here he is. Nice to doctor sick calves on too. Works a rope when doctoring. He has the best smooth dog trot a ranch horse can have too. He is a calf dragging machine. We have heeled some steers on him just for fun. If you can find a better all around ranch horse than RePete buy him or I will. You will have to drive lots of miles in your truck to do that I promise. RePete is for sale and not for trade!
