If you are looking for a good all around horse that can do a little bit of everything, then take a look at Traveler. He has been used on the ranch, (although its been a while since he was roped off of) ridden on trails, ridden English and jumped, and has done a little drill team and some playdays. Traveler is a 15 year old gelding, 15 hh, nicely built with a sweet, friendly personality. He sells as grade and we do not know how he is bred. He is extremely gentle with no buck, rear, bite, kick or other bad habits, and stays gentle even if not ridden regularly. He is gentle for just about anyone with basic riding skills, although probably a little too much for a small child or complete beginner. Traveler is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He has a good one handed neck rein, stops and backs correctly, and will work off your leg. He is quiet and rides on a loose rein, but still has plenty of go if you ask him for it. Traveler is safe and fun to ride, and with his excellent ground manners he can be enjoyed by the entire family. He can be ridden by himself or with a large group of horses with no problem. Traveler was last owned by a 10 year old girl so he thinks his job is to stay with the other horses while being ridden out in the pasture, but will ride off from the group if asked. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and is not bothered by it. Traveler has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul, and shoe. $3500.
