Description:
This is a 1960 - 70’s model TexTan saddle, Hereford model with rawhide covered wooden tree. I have owned this saddle since 1982 and have ridden a lot of different horses with it. It is comfortable, and has nice swells to keep you in if riding colts. It has sat in the tack room the past couple years. I bought my wife a new saddle, so this can go. It needs a new sheepskin as the mice have used the old one for nesting. This is a $500 - $600 saddle and I priced it to allow for the sheepskin replacement and any other saddle work needed to bring it up to speed. No offside latigo or cinch. I just cleaned and oiled it.
