Description:
Willow is a stunning buckskin mare thats an own granddaughter to Docs Prescription. Fancy broke and was lightly started in reining. This mare will ride however you want her to, one hand neck rein, two hand plow rein, or just leg pressure. Nice smooth gates. This mare side passes, started on spins, is a good stopper, works the gate, has been used to move cattle, taken down the road and just spent this summer giving lessons to beginner kids ages 6 and 9. Willow is so good with the kids under saddle. She is very forgiving and gentle however, on the ground she may be too much for young inexperienced kids to handle. She has only giving lessons in an arena setting.

I have not taken her on actual trails but she goes down the road, through water, no spook around cars, atv’s or farm animals.

She rides bareback as well. She has never bucked, bolted, kicked, or reared. No cribbing, chewing, weaving. She will paw when first tied but stops the longer she stands. This mare is SOUND!!! Big feet with strong hooves and good bone. Sure footed and beautifully put together. This mare is built to work and last a long time!

She has had one baby with a previous owner and it is a gorgeous buckskin thats built just like Willow is. Her previous owner said she is 5 panel n/n, a great mother and easy to breed.

The only reason we are letting Willow go is because we have decided to stay with Western Pleasure show horses and she’s way too good of a mare to just stand out in the pasture and we now MUST get her stall open. All reasonable offers considered!!
