"Joey" is a gorgeous, 13 yr. old buckskin overo paint gelding the whole family can enjoy! Joey is one of those easy to look at, quiet, uncomplicated geldings that most anyone can ride. He has a natural low head set and is a slow legged smooth mover. He has mainly been ridden outside, on the trails and on the ranch. He’s been hauled a ton and used as a lesson horse in summer camps for kids, etc. He has been used to gather, pen and sort and has also worked feeder pens. He will watch a cow! Joey knows how to help you open gates too. He is not spooky. He is easy to get along with and will go where asked. He is acquainted with dogs running underfoot, farm equipment, other livestock and children. Ride him double, bareback, in a halter and lead rope. Joey’s done it all. Standing 14.2 hands, this guy is literally as wide as he is tall. Just an all-around nice, honest horse here who is easy to manage on the ground and from the saddle. Joey has no vices and is an easy keeper. Clean legged and sound with nice, hard black feet. Vet checks are welcomed and encouraged.
