Description:
W.R.Rhodes (Roy)was a saddle maker in Kansas City, MO. in the late 1920’s into the 1930’s.Between 1930 and 1932, he made all leather items, including saddles for the famous Oscar Crockett Company.

This saddle probably dates from the late 1930’s, has not seen alot of abuse and in is in fantastic condition. All leather is soft and pliable. This is a nice example of a extremely well made saddle that is a true example of craftsmanship and utility.

Can be a display or ridden as it sits. The tree is on the narrow side but not far off from normal.(normal,wide,extra wide) 88-89 degree. Saddles such as this one are so often overlooked by folks. Yet they’ll go out and spend more money on bling and crap saddles.

Anyways I digriss, I need to thin the herd as they say. Time for someone else to appreciate a good quality piece.Saddle is for sale locally and other national venues.
