Description:
I am 27 years old and located near Ericson, Nebraska. I am willing to relocate if offered a position with living accommodations.



I have a 4.0 degree in Farm and Ranch Management and Agribusiness. I am also a military veteran I am an experienced horseback rider, and have a lot of cattle working experience. I have primarily day worked in the summers, for neighbors, branding, preg checking, processing, cattle drives so on so forth. I can run a chute, work the alley, vaccinate/doctor, brand, wrestle and flank calves during branding etc. I am very organized and have excellent record keeping skills. I have great attention to detail and like to get things done the right way and not cut corners. I have experience with fence work as well. I do have references for my cattle working experience.



I am a very hard working person and learn and catch on very quickly. If there is a task I am not familiar with, I am more than willing to learn and improve on the task.



Some things I have experience in but could use improvements on include running tractors and implements. I have experience in haying, I have driven multiple tractors and mowers ranging from old style 560’s and the bar mowers to newer tractors and large mowers. I also ran a rake last year. Again, I catch on quickly but tractor running is something I need more experience in and am willing to learn more to be more valuable.



I am currently improving my roping skills. I am not currently very good at roping horseback, but am spending time learning with a local roper. I can rope anything with my feet on the ground but adding a horse is just an additional step I am working on, an important one.



I am not experienced in welding, vehicle or equipment repairs, or equipment such as hay busters, balers, feed trucks or semis. I can however drive a stick shift. I can learn to weld if I am shown, it will just take experience to pick up this trade.



I do have basic skills to be able to do some shop work or smaller maintenance such as oil changes, tire repair, and other small shop tasks. I am not afraid of trying new things and also would be willing to learn more on the skills I lack.



I have my own horses, and a ranch dog. She is handy, but I understand people feel differently on ranch dogs.



I wasn’t sure what to put for photos, we don’t take many pictures but I put a photo of myself, a couple photos of me moving cattle, one of my dog working, and another of me riding at a versatility ranch horse show.
