Description:
This is a pair of lightly used Fleming sterling silver mounted stainless spurs. The spurs are marked Fleming inside the heel bands. Fleming is listed in Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen and Mike Graham. Fleming Bits and Spurs was a partnership between Willard Thomas and Richard Fleming and they were located in Bakersfield, California. They were known for excellent workmanship and sought after by collectors. These spurs are stainless and are single mounted with engraved sterling silver on the outside band and shank and have sterling mounted engraved button covers. There are some minor marks on the mountings from use but no play in the rowels so they were not worn much. This would be a nice pair of spurs to add to a collection or to wear.

Measurements: Heel Band Width a little less than 1 ¼”, Shanks (measured from heel band to end of shank) 2 ⅛”, Rowel Diameter 1”, Rowel Points 12, Heel Opening 3 ¼”, Weight of Both Spurs 1lb 2.6oz
