Description:
This is a pair of used handmade step in bell chaps with a silver mounted buckle and tie ring made by Don Burt from Electra, Texas. The chaps are marked with his maker stamp on the belt and the back of the buckle and tie ring are marked with a rocking D. The chaps are made out of about 5 ½ ounce brown chap leather rough side out. The yokes, pockets, and stiffeners are brown chap leather smooth side out buckstitched with dark brown lace leather. They have two inside pockets, a heavy latigo belt, fringe, fourteen stainless conchos, and are reinforced at the top of the thighs. There are stains from use and a small hole at the back of the right leg. A few pieces of fringe are missing. This would be a nice pair of using chaps already broke in and ready to go to work.

Waist – 28” to 38”

Upper Thigh - 21” **

Knee – 18 ½”

Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) - 41”

Conchos Diameter -1 Ό”

Tie Ring (outside diameter) – 2 3/8”

Belt Strap Width - 1”

Fringe – approximately 7 ½”



Measurement should be taken around the largest portion of the upper thigh with your jeans on. Since these chaps have inside pockets they would fit someone with a thigh of about 20 Ύ”.
