Description:
This "not so little" colt we call Lil Bit is 2nd generation from my breeding program and I am very proud of him. Although most of the greats are further back in his pedigree, they are all there! Lil Bit is a kind horse that wants to please. He is friendly but respectful, gentle natured, yet sensitive and far from dull. He wants to be soft and light, use his hocks, and move his feet. He is a very nicely conformed colt that I think could show in performance halter, then take him to the team roping futurities. He has that "Breakaway/Calf Horse" look that I love and I know he’ll be able to run one down and get one stopped. He’s also fancy enough for ranch riding, ranch trail, and versatility ranch horse. His sire Starlight Romeo is about as versatile as they come, with NCHA and team roping earnings, and just a great horse!! His mom is one of our favorite riding horses, by our stallion Cat and out of a Topsail Cody daughter. Lil Bit is the one everyone gravitates towards, and if HE were a SHE, he would not be leaving my ranch. He currently stands 13.3 HH and he will mature 14.3 to 15 HH. He leads, ties, baths, loads/hauls, good for farrier, vaccines, de-worming. He is up-to-date on trimming, de-worming, and vaccinations.
